Stunning Visualization Shows How The xx's New Album Went Viral Sep 11th 2012, 13:46 Recently, The xx partnered with Microsoft on an interesting project: The band created a visualization that shows how the stream of its album Coexist has been shared around the world. To do that, the band set up a site which lets viewers share an audio stream of its new album, Coexist, via Facebook, Twitter or email. Every share is visualized on a map as a curve, ending with the location of a new listener. To make it all the more interesting, the band initially shared the stream with only one fan to see how the news will spread.
