What to Expect From Nintendo's Wii U Announcement Sep 13th 2012, 13:15 Nintendo has invited members of the media to mysterious Wii U press event on Thursday at 10 a.m. ET. After spending 2012 talking about the Wii U at several conferences, Nintendo's event should fill in some key facts about the newest console. What We Know So Far Nintendo released a lot of information during this year's E3 about what the Wii U is. We know that the new console will be a hardware step up from the Wii, and at least on par with or better than the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in terms of graphics.
